Ethos
In an information rich world it is vitally important that students are taught how to successfully utilise information, dispel disinformation and determine the validity of sources. Being informationally literate is an important skill that will be used from childhood through adulthood.
Being literate is also vitally important, as stated in the New York Times, "No skill is more crucial to the future of a child, or to a democratic and prosperous society, than literacy." Our library staff seek to foster this love of reading by matching students with books that are enjoyable and accessible.
Come and visit the library - our staff are more than happy to help out.
